  • How much do your services cost?

    Good question, and important! Its a common one and the answer is, it depends on three main variables. The size of the property, the type of survey and the location of the property.   • If I appoint you will I get a chartered surveyor?

    In short yes. All our surveyors are chartered building surveyors and members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) our company is also regulated by the RICS. So you will always have a chartered surveyor acting for you.

  • Is your firm regulated by the RICS?

    Yes our company is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has been since the beginning. Our founder and director is a Fellow with the RICS also.

  • What Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance do you have?

    Our PI insurance cover is £2 million. We also hold a separate £10 million Employers and Public Liability insurance policies and a £1 million drone insurance policy.

  • Where are you based?

  • Can I speak to a surveyor before I commit to appointing?

  • What do commercial building surveyors do?

    Building surveyors can be found acting on residential and commercial properties and the RICS has different pathways for surveyors to become qualified or chartered in,, depending on these sectors.

    The difference in services provided between a commercial building surveyor and residential building surveyor are very different however. A residential surveyor will likely specialise in providing building surveys for residential property buyers and possibly some valuation work on these properties. The nature of the commercial property industry calls for broader services and consultancy work to be required which commercial building surveyors act upon, such as; dilapidations, planned preventative maintenance, reinstatement cost assessments, technical due diligence, schedules of condition and commercial project work.

  • How quickly can you carry out a survey?

    We are a responsive business and aim to fit our services around our client needs as we understand that the commercial property moves fast. We have carried out surveys within 24 hours of speaking with our clients in some cases it does depend on the location, nature of survey and type of property in question along with how busy we are at that present time.

    On average we aim to carry out our inspection within 1 week of our formal appointment with our reports taking between 5 and 10 working days to complete and issue, depending on the type of survey and nature of the property.

    Following our inspection our chartered building surveyors provide a high level summary of the main points within 24 hours, so our clients can act before waiting for the final written report.
